April 11, 2017 - 2004 - 2008 F-150 - Power Steering Return Hose - My power steering return hose was leaking so I am attempting to replace it. I disconnected the power steering pressure line from the rack with no problem, but I can't disconnect the return hose from the gear. It is as if it is seized to the rack. I have a 2008 F150 5.4 3v with 122,000 miles. Been doing great no major problems till the last couple of months the power steering has started giving trouble. It will become stiff or feel like its skipping when sitting still or rolling really slow (under 5 mph). It had plenty of fluid. Any ideas of what this could be. My booster or maybe the pump.
